Powerful shave, gentle on skin.
The Philips Shaver Series 5000 delivers a powerful shave, cutting even more hair per stroke. Equipped with advanced SkinIQ technology, the shaver senses and adapts to your hair density for improved skin comfort.
SteelPrecision blades
With up to 90,000 cutting actions per minute, the SteelPrecision blades shave close, cutting more hair per stroke. The 45 high-performance blades are self-sharpening and made in Europe.
Power Adapt sensor
The intelligent facial-hair sensor reads hair density 250 times per second and dynamically adapts the cutting power for an effortless, gentle shave.
360-D Flexing heads
Fully flexible heads turn 360° to follow your facial contours, for optimal skin contact and a thorough, comfortable shave.
Hair-Guide Precision heads
The shaving heads are shaped for precision, with hair-guiding channels on the surface that move hair into an effective cutting position.
Cable-free Quick Clean Pod
The powerful cleaning pod thoroughly cleans and lubricates your shaver in just 1 minute, keeping it performing at its best for longer. It is 10x more effective than cleaning with water, and as the world's smallest cleaning pod it's easy to store and use anywhere.
Wet & Dry
Go for a comfortable dry shave or a refreshing wet shave with gel or foam, even in the shower.
Pop-up trimmer
The precision trimmer is built into the shaver's body – perfect for maintaining a moustache and trimming sideburns.
LED display
The intuitive display shows a 3-level battery status, cleaning advice and a travel lock indicator, so you get the best from your shaver.
60 minutes of cordless shaving
Shave cordlessly for up to 60 minutes on one full charge.
1-hour charging time
The powerful, energy-efficient lithium-ion battery charges fully in just 1 hour. In a hurry? A 5-minute charge gives enough power for one full shave.
USB-A charging
To reduce waste and minimise the number of USB adapters on the market, a USB-A cable is included but no plug adapter. Should you need one, a suitable supply unit is available via www.philips.com/support.
7-year motor & battery lifetime
The motor and battery are engineered for durability, giving long-lasting power for a powerful shave.
Replacement shaving heads
Within two years, your shaver heads cut around 9 million hairs. Replace them with SH71 heads to get back to 100% performance.
Sustainable shaving innovation
The blade production facility uses 100% renewable electricity, the packaging is made with recyclable materials, and every shaver comes with an Eco Passport.
